Re: Why does Delta have flight going into Riverside, CA ?

As for these charters if they’re arranged last minute I bet the airlines make an absolute killing off of these trips. It’s government. If they were last minute corporate charters, then I would agree. Delta makes money from them but I doubt it’s an “absolute killing.” From an onboard experience pers...

Re: Virgin Australia considering widebody order this year, 787’s or A350’s to replace A332’s and 77W’s

So assuming MCE is counted with economy, that is 30/21/234 (285) on AA vs QFs 42/28/166 (236). For noting, the LAN config is 30/54/220 (304) (config 1 anyway, config 2 has small J/W differences). LAN is also a good noted one, potentially EVA as well has a touch over 300. Maybe TK, but VA have a rea...

Re: Virgin Australia considering widebody order this year, 787’s or A350’s to replace A332’s and 77W’s

Today VA CEO has indicated that Virgin could place an order to replace the existing widebodies that start coming off lease in 2024. Both the 6 A332’s and 5 77W’s would be replaced by a single fleet being either 787 or A350. Personally the 787 would be better, both BNE and MEL to LAX could allow the...

DL never intended to make SEA an SFO-like mega hub. LAX and SEA will work together. If DL wants to build up TPAC business, they will need another strong JV partner, similar to KE.
