Thats not how the process works There will be final recommendation before the master plan update is approved. If an airline such as Delta makes the forecasted passenger traffic happen sooner than expected, then the airport will move up construction to do future capacity-enhancing projects sooner. T...

Agreed. No one is building two, 30 gate courses at AUS. That idea is fantasy. However, the airport operator is planning an expansion in which "According to the grapevine, DL is getting 3 of the new gates, and use of 2 new CUTE gates, ..." And, my apologies to the DTW thread for suggesting...

Yes, but only if they're in south flow (which they will be 95% of the time in June). You'll see the Qantas 388 land on the west side if you're there in the early afternoon. Be prepared for lots of AA, though! Haha.

It's for an Associates or Bachelors from an accredited 141 school. You don't just get a 500-hour break for having a Bachelors. The vast majority of pilots will still be required to have 1500 under this proposal.

I've really enjoyed both episodes. As a CFI in the US, I must admit I'm green with envy seeing all of these trainees flying Airbuses with less total time than I have.
