Flight is triangle IST-BOG-PTY-IST so no tag. As I understand it the crew is changed in BOG.

well the cancel free streak almost ended on 8/20 when the FO "forgot" (their words not mine) that he had a LAX-BZE flight. Flight was boarded before they realised "no FO". It ended up leaving 10 hours late with a whole lot of very very upset people.

To be fair I have done a T5 to T3 and a T3 to T4 connection in 2016 and both were gate to gate about 40min. including rescreening. This was at about 7 in the morning.
But yes AMS is hands down the best in Europe if you are connecting.

Why on earth would someone fly PTY-GRU-DXB-XXX or for that matter XXX-PTY-GRU-DXB-XXX when it is very likely that that same pax can go one stop via AMS/CDG/MAD/FRA or via LAX or a myriad of other options. it would make far more sense for CM and EK to codeshare at JFK, MCO, LAX, etc even with the US ...
