Everytime I have been in a light weight aircraft it has always taken two or three tries to get the engine started, even newer aircraft. Why does my dad's car start on the first try, but a single engine aircraft takes 2 or 3 times? Thanks!

RR Engines On The 767...

Do the RR engines on 767's have any restrictions due to their lower thrust? How come few airlines choose that engine?

First of all, PLEASE DO NOT turn this into an A vs. B war. Anyway, I am starting an airline for my business class, and I am trying to decide between the 737 and the 320. I know the 320 has a wider cabin and cruising speed, and the 737 has a higher cruising altitude. Any other "details" I should know...

As I'm sure you know, the MD-80 series planes have two wngines, therefore two generators.A plane can easily operate w/ one generator.A generator(as long as the other one is operable) is on the MEL. Hope I could help.

I have seen, on boeing's website, that they are developing a 717-100 and a 717-300. They are also working on longer-range varients of the 757-200/300 and the 767 models.

Which Airport Should I Go To?

Hello all, I have decided that I am going to take a trip to a nearby major airport. I have narrowed my choices to the following: MEM, MCI, OKC, LIT, and Tulsa(TUL?).
