In Sweden all stores usually raise the prices and then lower them so that that new price is higher then the original price but gives the appearance of a price cut.
Stores have been threathned with large fines this year though so we'll see if the dare to do the regular fake sales this year.

Loops (of) the loop = multiple laps in the same loop.
