RE: VA First 77W In New C/s At SYD

Bit of a disappointment that colour scheme. It looks like a temporary scheme or partial repaint. Shame it had to be so boring. As a fellow Australian carrier to the well known QF, choosing full white and red seems like a stupid idea to me.

RE: 787 Production Thread Part 3

I think BOE040 is ZA117/LN40/JA806A (with its new engines) which has flown a number of times previously as BOE117. That call sign was already being used today by a 77W so it possibly explains the change.

RE: First Boeing 787 With Genx Engines

When it made its first flight, N787FT was the first 787 to fly with GEnX engines installed. Its probably a carry over from that. <table border="0" align="CENTER" width="95%" class="quote"><tr><td><font size="2" face="ARIAL, Helvetica, Geneva" color="#9A9DA0">Quoting <a href="/profile/71Zulu" class="...

RE: Complicated Special Liveries. Who Paint Them?

The original 'Wunala Dreaming' scheme was painted on VH-OJB in 1994 by a group of artists who had been commissioned by QF to convert the artwork from an original painting. When VH-OJB was replaced with VH-OEJ in 2003 the aircraft was delivered from Boeing in an all red paint job and flown elsewhere ...
