Is this the first schedule disruption/substitution to QF 9/10? As far as other types filling in, yes I believe it is. No cancellations and no services have been more than an hour or two late so far. The flying schedule amongst the four 787's tends to chop and change a bit but without internal info ...
Jump to post-VZB is now returning to MEL completing the delayed QF10
Jump to postVH-VZB (737-838) is operating the MEL-PER leg of QF9 today. Looks as though -ZNA will turn around at PER and return to LHR tonight.
It appears -ZNC may be u/s in Melbourne as QF400 (which she was scheduled to operate) was cancelled this morning. Can anyone confirm?

QF574 PER-SYD returned to PER this morning (takeoff 0522 and landing 0541) after they apparently could not retract the gear. The aircraft involved was -EBQ and the flight has been resumed with 738 -VZL.
Jump to postI recall Qantas let a 787 option expire, then they exercise these 6 options. How many more options do they have and what are the expiration dates? They had 15 Options and 30 Purchase Rights, so they have exercised 14 of those options which should leave 1 more plus the 30 rights. Qantas originally h...
Jump to postAccording to FR24 the airborne time for QF9 last night (ZND) was 16:45. According to Flightaware the block time was 17:03 and airborne time 16:29. There is some variation in the info available.
Jump to postDon't forget that Britain, tonight, goes forward an hour! So the eta is 04:24BST against the 05:10 Scheduled. Impressive. Pitty that i can't find it on FR24. Jump to postAccording to Allthings787 production spreadsheet 787-10 9V-SCA has been delivered contractually to SQ (on the 14th).
The recent pilot training flights had SQ flight numbers which tends to support that information.

The new 787-10 flights are available for booking from the 9th May 2018 on the SQ215/216 service. What a great upgrade for the people of Perth from the 777-200ER! The refurbished 772ER's are actually much nicer in J than their A333's. IMO it would have been better if they had replaced the overnight ...

I like it but I think it would have looked far better if the artwork covered the entire fuselage similar to the earlier birds OJB/OEJ, EBU and VXB.
