The AKN/DLG service on AS is really low. On penair each market was getting 90-130 seats a day. Alaska is scheduling a 76 seat triangle. Hopefully they are fully committed to these markets when people start flying more.

Also at 71 miles gotta be the shortest e175 route?

Oh, I’m not disagreeing with regard to the smaller markets you’re referring to. What I am saying is that a 175 doesn’t belong on SEA-ANC/FAI or other major markets. If I were AS I would just take the opportunity to put ravn 2.0 in its grave and take ena and hom immediately. Expand service to cdb, and get a real codeshare with grant. I’ll be interested to see if AS is one of the bidders to buy parts of Ravn out of bankruptcy. Couldn’t agree more on ENA and HOM....

Don't underestimate how capable the A330 fleet is, remember several of the A332's were up-rated to operate LAX flights a number of years ago. Yes. But you wouldn’t do that at say ENA. You’d need real TSA. Also year round TSA at AKN ans DLG will be all awesome for those communities

Could we see ASA use the E175 fill in the gaps left by Ravn's bankruptcy? I'm mostly referring to airports such as HOM, ANI, and GAL. I imagine they will be looking hard at Unalakleet as well. Don’t think it’s certified for pas ever flights. You need a perimeter fence. I can't imagine that the AS mainline pilots are particularly happy about this. SEA-ANC/FAI on an E75? There is *nothing* regional about such a route. Those are AS's trunk routes to Alaska. Sure it says it "complements" the mainline service, but you'd be naive to think that if it does well...

FAI is not too far. Delta did it. They are going to need someone way to rotate them to L48. With the Q they had an orphan fleet and had to fly non revenue legs to rotate frames.
