I'm pretty sure there was a graph showing which tests had been completed as well as which aircraft would work on which tests going forward. It was part of the CS300 first flight material I believe.

Better than advertised range, fuel burn and noise factors? Not only that, but although Rob Dewar doesn't give a ballpark number, he says that it is "significant, it's not a small number". I wonder how much that changes the maths overall. FTV5 flying into Paris with a better numbers and its interior ...

They definitely have a lot more confidence in the aircraft (or FBW) now. I wondered how steep the curve would be for the CS300, and it's very nice to see that it seems to have benefited from all the progress made on the 100.

Well, they decided a long time ago that staying relevant would only be achieved by developing a new plane, and not only by updating their current offerings. Speaking of testing, I think they talked about evac testing that took place a little bit ago in front of Transport Canada, the FAA and EASA. I'm wondering who are the participants in such testing? Carefully selected employees? It must be quite an experience.

CYFO, really? Is that really needed?

Anyway, wikipedia page says that deliveries of 737MAX would start 2021, so that's at least six years with only two leased planes. Almost none of the routes on this map would be served for a good while.

I'm curious how a tire blowout would incapacitate the gear enough that it collapses upon landing. As for the prop, I guess it is unlucky, but still reasonably logical that upon gear failure the propeller could shear off and bounce into the cabin. The fact no fatalities occurred is amazing.
