RE: CSeries - Flight Testing And Production Thread (Part 5)

Yep, I was afraid that they would ramp this up very, very slowly with short hops for numerous weeks. The flights, at the least, are long. I'm unsure how high and hard FTV2 flew so far, there doesn't seem to be any information about this. FTV4's engines are running today as well.

RE: CSeries - Flight Testing And Production Thread (Part 5)

So, how about we have two topics for the CSeries? This one should focus on actual flight test. I suggest another could be opened for speculations concerning orders, the future of the program, etc. Anyway, as for actual testing, FTV2 flew 3h15 today. Sylvain Faust also reports FTV4 avionics are on. P...

I like the colors themselves. The geometry is fine as well. I just think the tail is a bit weird looking with no text or logo on it.

Without immediately jumping to the "shot down" conclusion, it seems from the pictures and bits of information (as unreliable as it is) that parts of the plane are spread over a decently large area. At the very least this would seem to be a mid-air break up, then. If it wasn't shot down, this would s...
