Thank you for the info, 7Boeing7... I just don't get why not select GPWS altitude callouts, V speed callouts, etc. It adds to safety.

RE: SEA-NRT Flight Plan Differences

Probably a combination of different weight, fuel burn and winds. My guess is the 777 was lighter and has a better fuel burn while the 744 was heavier and relied on going with the winds as much as possible to save costs.

RE: W9 Climb Rate

Well for WN, I don't believe they carry the amount of cargo that other airlines carry. So their gross weight is going to be lower than a similar 737 from United or American. They probably use a higher cost index and no derated climb mode also.

Carrier Options For Airplanes

I recently found out some airlines choose not to have certain options for their airplanes installed. I get why someone like Southwest when they had a large classic fleet would opt for the side by side displays on their 737 <acronym title="Lauda Air (Austria)">NG</acronym>'s, but I don't get why some...

4 passengers, probably some cargo weight, I'm guessing full fuel as most rental companies for some reason love topping off the fuel to be heavy, not a good combination.

RE: Its Here Finally! The American A319!

I've never liked the new American livery and still don't. I've always thought that the best tail logo would be the little Eagle and red and blue stripe they have in front of the words American, rather than an obnoxious strangely designed American flag.
