Norwegian is actually the kind of carrier I'd imagine launching BUD-US again. The issue is that the local BUD is mostly controlled by Eastern European ULCC WizzAir now, but that's fixable if Norwegian decides there's a short-haul market out of BUD worth chasing.

I'm curious how much subsidy is TAO airport offering for this route. Slightly odd choice of MU opting to head to SFO instead of LAX.

TAO is also slated to start nonstops to MEL and YVR, both by Beijing Capital Airlines, subsidiary of Hainan Air Group.
