RE: Carry-On Requirements?

I carried a trombone on an AA MD-80 before, its not a big deal really but it depends on the type of saxophone. What about if say a charter airline operates the A380 or a Japanese carrier in a domestic configuration. Would you want to rebook 600+ of those smiling faces?

Well I am surprised this thread got this long! I am part of the second school of though but when I first started I was the badge-on dork. But I did get free booze when wearing it and believe it or not upgrades do happen.. It's all about being nice and appreciative to the gate agents and asking polit...

Non-revving, Badge On Or Off?

I just had a thought, of course being courteous and following the dress code is essential to being a good non-revver, but should you wear the badge or not? There seems to be 2 schools of thought: One being the badge wearer and the fact that the staff immediately knows they are an employee and by wea...

Almost surreal seeing those kind of pictures. The CR7 sitting out in the snow and the pax deplaning in a field. And you think everyone is trying to push past you and be the first off when you are pulling up to a gate is bad?? I am sure there was a pretty mad rush to get off and doesn't look like the...

RE: Running Through The "Exit Only" Door

Ok maybe I should have worded my question differently. The point of the question was what is to stop some crazed bomb-toting lunatic from running past the elderly person "guarding" the door and doing who knows what in the terminal or possibly getting aboard an aircraft? To me this practice seems to ...

I knew rear engined jets like DC-9s, MD-80s, etc. could "power back" and push back on their own power but I haven't seen a turboprop do this.. Anyone have a link to a video of a prop doing this? Whats the smallest turboprop that can do this?
