I find it interesting that EA has basically said that they're not in the running. Re: First Delta Airbus A220-100 Rolls Out Of Paints Shop

Just a quick note. The first bases for the DL A220's will be NYC and SLC. LAX will not be getting an A220 base, as SLC is geographically in a better location for A220's to hit all west coast bases. LAX will instead open an A320 base. Other than that she looks beautiful!!! I am not doubting you, but...

Thanks for the insights, y'all. I would have thought that they'd begin work on it sooner and that they'd need a hangar for it. Assumptions on my part. Come to think of it, I doubt Eppley has a hangar big enough for an A320 in the first place.

A huge part of Delta's revenue advantage is Fortress ATL. This also happens, for example, in Salt Lake City - and it's certainly not just regional jets. I'm not sure that is 100% correct. The U.S. carriers completely overestimated the total number of passengers expected to fly between the U.S. and Cuba. Realistically, the airlines should have treated Cuba like a brand new destination carved out of a tropical isle, instead, they ran with a 'We're Go...
