LGA is a crapshoot, but I would say maybe the left side about 2/3 of the time for a great view of Manhattan & Statue of Liberty. But when the plane flies north above the Hudson the view from the right side is breathtaking.

For me IFE on a flight is a big deal. The funny thing is I rarely sit down to watch TV or a movie at home. I'm surprised so many in this thread are shocked that British Airways charge for food and drinks on short haul, I'm guessing most are non Europeans as not only was the move well publicised (and criticised) at the time but it's pretty much the standard within Europe these days, free snacks are becom...

Those few extra inches of legroom also mean slightly more generous recline. I have never been able to sleep in a regular coach seat which is basically sitting straight up. I'll say that it's an improvement; a modernized version of Continental's livery (which wasn't bad when it debuted). I still miss rising blue however, I thought that was truly inspired.

I know many despise American's new livery, but I believe their planes stand out from the other legacies, and even from ten miles away, you can't mistake that tail for anything other than American, as in the flag. Looking at the picture from the video I'm not so sure about a grey belly, there's no grey to be seen. So maybe only a white and blue tail, blue engines, light blue swoop and larger titles. I so hope they keep the gray belly. It adds just a touch of dimension; I would be very disappointed with yet a...
