It's already a de facto oneworld hub because AS feeds every oneworld partner from SEA. AA, BA, CX, JL, LA, QF, all codeshare with AS.

Why doesn't UA do the maths.........calculates how much per head a meal costs on average to give passengers in Y on these routes and instead of offering it, simply deduct the costs from the ticket?...

Iberia does not have much of a premium reputation anyways... launching a LCC configuration affiliated with them would not damage their brand. Vueling is a better choice because of Catalonia's regional identity, but that's not a deal breaker. After all, people in Montreal still fly Air Canada.

Just like the 330/340 Fleet. That doesn't change the fact, that it is the same seat in an outdated 2-2-2 configuration.
