I'm surprised Delta chose N67171 as a SONG plane. This 757 is one of Delta's newest 757's delivered in 2001. Why not re-configure an older cabin in need of updating? They must have pulled nearly new seats and panels out of this bird.

Interesting......just today, Delta also added two CRJ-700 flights a day between ROC and ATL (and also between SYR and ATL).

There is one pic in the database of ship N736DY in HNL with a caption that it is headed to ATL. This picture was taken in 1999 and it is a L1011-1-15(250).

Even though the problem was detected after take-off, the flight probably continued on to JFK to land since runway 22R is 11,350 ft long while BUF's long runway is 8,100 ft long.

Boeing has built over 4,300 737's if you go all the way back to the first 737-100. Boeing has built over 1182 jets in the 600, 700, 800, 900 series. The plane you flew on was the 1000th of the new series (NG).

I flew AA73 in June. It is a two class 767-300. If you go to AA.com and look you will see it designated for the Hawaii route. The first class seats on these 767's aren't as roomy as first class on international service. It's more like business class.
