USAF : Looks bit of underexposed to me. I think it could have bit of more contrast too.
DELTA: Looks not bad to me.
AA: Not quiet sure. The sharpness looks iffy.
FEDEX: Looks not bad although the cockpit windows look slight OS to me i think.

The colour of it does look strange to me too especiallythe sky i think. The aircraft's colour looks not so bad although the yellow could be reduced bit of. I tried to reduced Red in the curve and it seems that it becoms better after that. Sharpness and blurry looks ok to me.

Are they not screening the photo as presented? I think it depends. Some screeners will not Equalize the photo in PS or somewhere to check the halo or dirty points (I think most of them will not) because when from an objective perspective to see, when people visit the website and see you picture no ...

I agree with Jehan's opinions. The LH looks ok to me too but Tarom looks OS as i can see some jaggys around the plane. . I set the same sharpening values for both photos and none of them was marked as over-sharpened by first screeners. It's common that different people have different standard to it ...

I agree with Kas viewpoints. The Delta... is the yellow fixable at all? Maybe reduce yellow saturation? I've tried to reduce yellow saturation of the delta in my LR. It does work but when you reduce the saturation i think you should pey attention to the luminance of the colour or it would be pretty ...

It looks overexposed now especially the top of the aircraft. Besides, i would recommed you to crop the picture with the ratio 3:2 or 16:9.

Would it be the end of the world if I didn't? I hit the gears with the sharpening tool at 50% strength and thought that was good enough to my liking.

The current one looks ok to me actually. So it depends on you !
For the JB ... I will let it go as the quality seems not so great to me to be honest.

The website on the engine looks slight blurry especially the glare area. The stabilizers and the nose area look more soft than other areas. The latest Version of N835AW looks ok to me now although i will use Black Straw to touch the gears because i've tried in my PS base on this latest version and it looks more comfortable you can have a try. The new version of N835NW now looks underexposed. You can see it through the Histogram and the photo does look underexposed.
Besides, it seems that i can't open those links now. Once i open those new links the Old links can't open to me.

Harry, would you mind sharing what presets you used to get that level of exposure and contrast?

I don't use Lightroom to adjust it. I usually use Photoshop to adjust most of processes of spotting photos. I can PM you the settings later as I am not using my Computer yet.

The QR A380 looks not bad to me actually. But i think it could have more sharpness as the windows and title looks slight soft maybe because of angle problem i think. Besides, i like this angle and sunshine !
