Flight Rescheduling Question For AA

On this coming Saturday, Jan 5, I'm scheduled to fly PIT-ORD-LAX-OGG all on American/American Eagle. If I showed up at the AA desk at PIT on the morning of the 5th and asked if I could take the PIT-STL-OGG, or PIT-DFW-OGG route do you think they would allow that if there was sufficient room on those...

Will AA Keep STL-OGG/HNL Routes?

Does AA plan on keeping the nonstops to Hawaii(HNL & OGG) from STL eventhough they are getting rid of TWA's pratt-powered 763's? From the midwest AA currently serves HNL nonstop from ORD, and HNL & OGG nonstop from both DFW and STL. I believe AA serves HNL with 2 daily nonstops from DFW. The STL rou...

Has Hawaiian's entire inter-island fleet been replaced by the 717s yet, or are there still 1 or two DC-9's flying out in the pacific? If not how many DC-9's are still in operation and when will they be replaced? Thanks.

RE: A Question About A Quaint California Airport

I've been to Brackett a few times and spent lots of time around that area (I had a friend who went to Pomona) and I've never seen a jet, corporate or any other kind fly into or out of there. I can't believe it's too common (or safe) for a jet as big as a GIII or a Lear 45 for that matter to fly into...

RE: Etops 757 Questions?

Yea, I know what ETOPS is, but I'm just addressing 757 ETOPS on US Airlines. Actually, to keep 75's ETOPS certified much higher costs are required because they are not certified out of the factory like 76, 777's. In other words airlines spend lots of money to keep their 75 ETOPS standards current. W...

What current nonstop 757 routes originating in the continental U.S. require ETOPS certification besides Hawaii and Europe? Is ETOPS required for flights to Bermuda or other Carribean destination? I ask because I read that AA has 14 ETOPS certified 757's and UA has 16. Why so many if they're only use...
