Re: Buzz Aldrin explodes on Deltas' "Lousy Operation"

What, because he was an astronaut and landed on the moon he can behave like an a**hole and blame people for his own fault? You are like the apologizers for Harvey Weinstein. Think again and think correctly. No, but people do behave like arseholes sometimes, more so when they're old, perhaps, and ot...

Re: Buzz Aldrin explodes on Deltas' "Lousy Operation"

Everyone can have a bad day. I would be willing to bet that Buzz Aldrin has achieved way more in life than every keyboard warrior being a smart arse on here, including me. I have been there, done that, people do people things. But he’s a legend, and he’s someone’s grandpa, and he’s having a bad day...

Re: Why use widebodies for domestic flights?

Last night I took the second 777 ever delivered: N774UA. It was set up for the latest in domestic cattle car accouterments: 10 wide, no screens, just a spring-loaded clamp for your personal device. yuck. We made our connection with time to spare, but I was worried based on the lousy track record of...

United also has Ethiopian Airlines as a partner, with UA placing its code on daily Ethiopian flights out of IAD and beyond ADD. Many of the reasons why operations in Africa can be a challenge and can be potential reasons for UA not flying have been mentioned above. Perhaps too, the USA government m...

The government is offering them about three times the value of their house, but they still say no. These people are the biggest fools of all time. Nobody will ever offer them 3x the resale value, and when they end up building the runway anyway, these will be the people that regret not taking a huge...

Unfortunately this man made a stupid decision. Flip off the ticket agent, film them, call up CS etc, a bomb threat though is rash, stupid, and unacceptable. Wouldn't have hurt the ticket agent to see that he was fighting a losing battle and waive the fee, but that would require customer service, so...

Your airline is only as good as your last experience, now who was it said that? that's a bunch of bull. Then how do you rank airlines, jumbojet? By fleet size, RPM, CASM, number of destinations, overall customer experience (very hard to measure accurately), annual profits, on-time statistics, some ...
