Re: Emirates Announces non stop flights to EWR

I understand that DXB is mainly connecting pax and UA doesn't fly there anymore anyway. America First doesn't apply to all industries ie air transport and that is fine because our government allowed these deals. But as a Global Services member I will never enter an Emirates cabin and Dubai (IMHO) a...

I would agree, unless you have critical mass, SV & EY do not.

Re: Etihad to retire A330 freighter fleet

Strong rumors in ME that they are negotiating sending their 77Fs to EK along with pilots.

Freight booming but you need the critical mass of the size of EKs network and associated belly hold to achieve economies of scale.

EY are just too niche now - both pax and freight. Gulf Air 2 in the making.

What you are seeing at the Airline is quite simply - burn out. It’s on many levels but essentially they have for the past 5 years run the pilots literally into the ground. We are not talking about fatigue of a particular person on a particular flight. It’s the effects of longer term fatigue - what’s...

Does anyone know if the 350 & 380 are a common type in UAE ?
