In this regards, government probably equals to Mr. Erdogan himself since DHMI would surely not be comfortable with a chaotic transfer, opening and running of operations. At the end of the day, they have a great stake in this topic, but Erdogan has an ego and loss of face if postponed at this point....

-3rd runway is very important, should be ready end of next year, IIRC. mafaky could tell us the details. -789 first routes will be Atlanta, Dulles and Denpasar second half of 2019. Indeed they (5 frames) are: they fly exclusively the IST-BOG-PTY-IST (3x weekly), IST-HAV-CCS-IST (3x weekly), IST-ATL-IST (5x weekly) and IST-CPT-IST (5x weekly) routes on S18 schedule. I hope/wish the 2nd Tokyo service will be for Haneda (HND) instead of Narita (NRT). In my opinion, a daily KIX service may not end up profitably. Perhaps a weekly 4X service???

The only and latest rumors I have heard about Turkish Cargo, leasing out 332Fs: They have shaken hands with MNG Cargo for 2 frames. But nothing solid yet, no declarations to KAP, etc.
