I know few people who were booked on this flight and United refused to put them onto other flights. They were refunded and had to buy super expensive tickets. One guy had booked way in advance and got a round trip for $1800 with one way in business and he had to buy a $2000 united ticket to delhi v...Jump to post
Nail on the head. This is a block of B6. Makes me wonder if they know B6 acquired LGW slots. Delta has their informants everywhere. Of course they know. I also shows you a difference in style. Delta the no-nonsense airline that just announces a new route without years of hinting at it, while JetBlu...Jump to post

Considering only 1 out of 10 planes is at home.... does anyone know what's the current situation of the crews down route? FI is flying all stranded WOW crews home for free today/tonight. Priceless first they help put WOW Air out of business and cause these people to lose their jobs and then fly the...Jump to post
Does anyone know their load factors? Are they flying around with half empty A321? I remember they were founded with the idea of offering cheap TATL via KEF, seems like the overestimated the demand... Demand isn't the issue. They even create demand at the prices they charge. The issue is covering co...Jump to post
To elaborate on the owner, he is someone who isn't willing to give up control based on Indigo backing out. This happens a lot in business, where the owner of a failing company refuses to sell, thinking that the new owner will mess things up too much, not realizing that it was his failings that caus...Jump to post
Unless he has flown the B78X, which does have a true W section (21 W seats in a 2-3-2 arrangement). I haven't and I'm not a troll. I was referring to their Economy Plus that they've been selling as Premium Economy for years. I'm glad to see that they are finally catching up to the rest of the world...Jump to post
UA drops ORD-YOW/TUS/JAN and IAH-CRW/CAE/LEX. Beginning to wonder if all that talk about beefing up the domestic hubs only applies to DEN. What a joke, eh? Not a way to build a hub. From what I've heard, most of these cuts released today should be temporary - due to pilot shortage at one of the reg...Jump to post
Their premium economy class still sucks giant rocks. Quite eloquent you are. But Premium Plus service hasn’t even started yet, so on what are you basing your observations? Clearly you’re just a troll Unless he has flown the B78X, which does have a true W section (21 W seats in a 2-3-2 arrangement)....Jump to post
This is so sad to hear. I had such a wonderful experience flying WW home from Barcelona this past summer. Excellent value for the money, just the the Norwegian and Iberia flights I took to get there from LA. I'm not sure why so many seemingly root against carriers that have made it possible for you...Jump to post

Sixteen floors and almost 900,000 square feet for the home office employees? I seem to recall a fire broke out at the home office about 10 years ago. Only "essential" employees could go to work for a 3 week period with everyone else told to stay home. Funny, planes still flew, operations ...Jump to post

Was hoping UA would have hopped on this first. If this proves successful for LY, this will only expedite UA's entry into the market. I agree, they have to let the new IAD-TLV service mature before jumping on ORD. With IAD 3-weekly (i believe), I could see UA making ORD 4 weekly on the alternate days.Jump to post
Scott Kirby has contempt for high spend flyers Is this a for real statement? Just look at AA, which has and continues to decimate it's Concierge Key and Executive Platinum programs....much like UA is doing now with Global Services. There is really no evidence that the GS benefits are tangibly erodi...Jump to post
As a fellow GS, I have actually noticed little of what you describe and have been very happy with the GS services provided to me in the last 6 months. I have not personally noticed any degradation of service or level of commitment to myself or fellow passengers. Gate agents have more autonomy now wi...Jump to post

I was astonished by your photo of the PE cabin, couldn't believe what I see. Now checked Seatguru. UA is really putting 3-3-3 into their Economy Plus cabin? That's really greedy. Nice report anyway. What's the thing with the secret lounge at LAX? I think you're confusing Economy Plus with Premium P...Jump to post
Great report!! Beautiful aircraft, well done United. It's also really nice to see all of the effort UA put into this to make it special for its passengers. It's as much, if not more, than was done for the induction of the first 788.Jump to post
Great report, thanks for sharing! The product looks really nice. Excited to see the Premium Plus service fully executed.Jump to post
A bit off topic, but if they were to officially shutter, where would California Pacific rank in terms of shortest amount of time from first flight to shutting down? Have any other airlines closed up shop so quickly?Jump to post
Anyone who books a new reservation on WOW at this point must be crazy. Yeah, wouldn't like to find myself like Primera pax... eventhough there're giving away CDG-EWR at 200€ return The saddest part is a lot of primera pax rebooked their holidays on Wow. Or the hundreds of WOW employees losing their...Jump to post
How is Toronto news? UA did this back in 2000 with an A320, I was on it, and remember it because we had a fuel tank sensor issue.... When airlines start/re-start routes it's probably a good idea to let the public know that it's actually happening. You may find it boring. But why wouldn't UA include...Jump to post

Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely report. I enjoyed reading it a lot! Is the A350 cabin width comparable to the A330?
