The serious cost cutting will happen after STC is out. There is a reason why they hired Christoph Mueller. That will be too late. Alleged rumor is they complained to Emir that Mueller is aggressively cutting workforce and got rid of Mueller before he can cleanup. Not clear if he is taking a timeout...

The pilots and crews do not work for Ryanair. They work for employment agencies on 1-3 year contracts. There are no raises, if you don't like the terms of the contract you are forced to go elsewhere. Just like the 330/340 Fleet. That doesn't change the fact, that it is the same seat in an outdated 2-2-2 configuration. It also doesn't change the fact that LH puts an outdated J seat in their brand new 350s. Outdated? It´s been introduced 3 years ago. And to me it looks like a really solid product...

Yepp, but as far as I know FR didn't commit to the number of planes/flights. Another point is that the airport isn't profitable. The loss is mainly because of the discount FR and the other LCC's are getting.

Freight is also going down... frankly there isn't reason why RLP should burn more money
