Speaking of summer schedule, it looks like Alaska's second PDX-BOS flight will be on the A320 this summer.

Seems a bit odd since I thought that they were transitioning away from transcons with the A320s.

My guesses are either Spirit to MCO and LAS, or AS to SAN, and PDX being a long-shot.

If it's FRA, it would probably be flown by Lufthansa, not United.

I've been noticing lots of SAN-bound flights diverting to LAX this morning, AS's GEG-SAN and JL's NRT-SAN both diverted to LAX, and there may be some more flights as well. Is this weather related?

I'm surprised that the pilot decided to land the plane in that kind of weather. Then again, there probably isn't too many close options for diversion and not enough fuel to turn around back to DFW. Glad everyone's okay.
