Re: AA Fleet Updates - 2018

What are the timelines for receiving the last of the first batch of 789 orders? There are two more coming before 2023, right? Yes. The next B787-9 delivery is currently scheduled for Jan. 17, 2019. And the final acft is about to start assembly, but no delivery date is available. I'd guess late Feb ...

Re: AA adds FCA, Double Daily DFWMAD/CDG, return to YHZ, 787 to ANC plus more

Yes, hope that AA doesn't push out AF, but I doubt it. AA gets away with pushing foreign metal out because while there is enough traffic for 1-2 flights to European cities, other than LHR, there's just not enough room for 3-4 and the foreign metal always loses. With Frequent Flier miles and rewards...

It has rolled out, painted, however sans engines. Try using this address https://aibfamily.flights/airline/Ameri ... lines/A320 to see where I got this info.

Re: AA Fleet Updates - 2018

Looks like it will be registered N778XF for AA. Formerly N951FR with F9. Anybody heard the new registry numbers for the other two A319s, formerly N922FR and N923FR? American has 771, 773, 774, 775, 776, 779, 780 and 781XF reserved, so I guess any of those. Idk why they started with 778. Thanks, mas...

Re: AA Fleet Updates - 2018

Still a few MD-80s to retire by the end of the year, correct? Anyone know when those are scheduled to leave the fleet? I believe everything that is planned to leave for the year is already gone. The rest will leave in August 2019. My understanding was they would end 2018 with 26 MD-80s. If that rem...

Would it kill anyone to actually use the airline name instead of their two letter code? Many of us have no idea outside of the major US carriers. Hey TTailedTiger, you can use address: http://www.iata.org/publications/Pages/code-search.aspx You can put in the two letter code and it will tell you th...

How many 737s were delivered before 2009 and will not be part of Oasis? The vast majority was delivered after 2009 and will be retrofitted, right? Re: AA Fleet Updates - 2018

One has to understand that AA has 285 seats on the 789, which is more than any 77E, yet the 789 also has more range. For a fleet that for years depending on the 77E, it is unlikely AA needs anything bigger, despite A.net wisdom to the contrary. Speaking of PE installations, and B777s, aircraft N751...

Re: AA Fleet Updates - 2018

How many 737s have been retrofitted so far? Have they been doing around 6-7 per month? Currently there are 20 active 738K’s. 6-7 is what they’re goaling per a month but I heard they were trying to get it up to 8. Do you know if they do the older ones with the small bins first? Or it is completely r...

You were right, N324RN was fixed quickly and is back in the skies.
