How would a costumer service agent know how to even start a modern twin engine turboprop? It's not like just pushing buttons or moving levers.

This looks so weird and it's also a huge security failure. Luckily it wasn't a fully loaded plane or an even bigger plane flying towards a town or a big city.

A few weeks ago I booked a flight SCL - MVD and I got a 789, when that route is served by A320 99% of the times, and by the older 320’s of the fleet. Seeing how visibility went from "Hey, we can actually see something" to "Holy cow, I'm blind", in a matter of seconds, it looks like a windshear related incident or possibly a microburst. Are microbursts "common" in that area?

Not a delivery, but Airbus A320-271N 7844 CC-BHA is back in the skies after more than 6 months of storage. It operated LA449 (SCL-EZE) and has quite a busy schedule for today as it's also doing the return leg, then LA445 to EZE and back and LA91 to Punta Arenas and back.

What I could extract with my very limited German skills is that the plane was intentionally landed on that grass field (It was already WFU) in order to be preserved as a tribute to an aviation pioneer. Mad skills from the pilot as it only took 900m from touchdown to stop the plane.

LATAM is leasing planes from Wamos Air while work is being done on these 787-8s engines. Some routes done by them are being covered by 767s which are being transferred from LATAM Ecuador and the routes done by these Wamos Air planes will be doing the routes left by the 767s.

Airbus A340-300. I always loved the sound those tiny CFMs produced at full throttle.

The other one was the MD11, but, unfortunately, the only chance I almost got to fly on one was in the Mid 90's and it was changed to a 767 because of a (big surprise) problem with the MD11 :(

Flew CC-AFX, a Sky Airline A319, between SCL and ZCO and five days later I flew on the same plane. Probably not that surprising. What's funny is that I also got the same pilot for both flights, but the rest of the crew was not the same.
