cant say im shocked.
Jordan is a pretty small market and it probabely served mostly O&D pax(maybe some feeds from TLV and BEY) plus CAN is also not the biggest market compared to PEK,HKG and PVG.

i think it wont work. LY is expensive but has its loyal flyers who would pay more, but AI would have to compete with LY and flying this route the long way( not flying over arab countries) so i think they should be more focused on IAD and look for other potential routes.

Yet LAX is able to sustain double daily EK (A380 + 77W) with EY and QR each at 1x daily. SFO is way over served as it is.
