a friend of mine flew DOH-SYD few days ago and said there were about 200 pax out of the 517 seats of the A380, he had the whole row to himself!
so i think QR isnt ready yet for the A380, but its definitely growing in a very big pace!

although its close to ISIS the Peshmerga(army of Iraqi Kurdistan) have kept them out of the border and i think its the most quiet area in iraq.
also the city has a large oil industry so that boosts airlines to fly there.

I think TP's model is a bit like TK's so definitely not focused on O&D. I recently flew BCN-BOS via LIS as it was a phenomenal fare - $270 one way with checked bag, free food and free alcoholic drinks and free IFE. They are giving LCC and full-service carriers a run for their money. Flying on A...

i was just looking at Wikipedia and saw that the DXB-DOH route was flown by almost 3 million pax in 2015.
Qatar and UAE are pretty small countries with most of the population being foreign, so i was wondering why is this market is so big? is it because of business ties?VFR? connections?

BOS isn't a hub for Delta - it's more focus city, with most of the flight count to other Delta hubs. Yes, there are SOME Delta flights from BOS to non-Delta-hub airports but those number in the dozens, not the hundreds as at ATL/MSP/DTW.
