thats just stupid...
she is in an american airline, not in a muslim one and she knew her job would require serving alcoholic beverages to pax.
I beg to differ about PHX. It's not a large hub already (only 300 daily departures). In addition, it's 2/3 mainline. Most of the "fat" has already been trimmed when US was running the show. Yes, but it's also the most redundant hub in route structure and traffic flows; and considering tha...Jump to post

They dropped it for the same reason DL dropped ATL-DXB, competition from the ME3.
i think UA has the advantage in SIN because of its Codeshare with SQ.Jump to post

a city of 100k people and 200k people metro is tiny for a transatlantic flights, even if its with an a319... Here's tiny!..... YDF Deer Lake (population 4,500) on the west coast of Newfoundland (also serving Corner Brook).....had to be one of the smallest towns with Transatlantic service. Around 8 ...Jump to post
whats really weird is the YYT-LHR route. how a tiny city like st johns and with no connection options gets enough pax even to fill an a319, this route seems like it only serves newfoundland. Wouldn't exactly call St. Johns 'tiny'. Yes it may be in an economic downturn but I don't think St. John's c...Jump to post
Where on earth is the feed for EK/MCO & QR/MIA??? The answer is simple: It's in DXB and DOH :) does that mean these flights are based solely on O/D traffic? Yes. As has been said many times in other threads, these flights leverage primarily O&D demand on the U.S. side. yes but most of the p...Jump to post
Air China is said to start PEK-WAW in September, but not sure how they could dramatically benefit if indeed they buy a stake in LO. You do not see much benefit on part of KE from buying OK. We'll see what happens next. i dont think they will start it because LOT already fly PEK-WAW, and that market...Jump to post
EK buying LY will sound more reliable than this...Jump to post
EI begins flights to BDL next month. In addition, EI is expected to announce 2 or possibly 3 more US cities in the coming weeks (MIA is almost certainly one of them). The airline is taking delivery of 4 brand new A330-300s between the end of this month and next Summer. It may also be of interest to...Jump to post

Non-Irish visit Ireland, too. France's 84 million foreign visitors in 2014 weren't made up entirely of ex-French. Singapore is visited by non-Singaporeans.
i have checked out flights from Ireland to the US and i realized that the market is huge, which is surprising because ireland is just a country of 4.5 million people but still the JFK-DUB route had about 620k pax in 2015, DUB-ORD and DUB-BOS had both around 330k pax in 2015 and there are many more r...Jump to post

i tried KAYAK and from MEX,BOG and LIM to DXB it gave me a one stop option in MCO with B6 and EK.
but i think most of those flights have more connections on the DXB/DOH side.
Good, hopefully they increase it to 80k seats a week. I think the Government of Dubai wants 100k bit they will never get that. Of course they do. How else can they continue to build up their infrastructure without low paid Indian workers? I don't think it's because of that. It's more to do with the...Jump to post
