Northwest Airlines DC-10s

Does anyone know how long Northwest intends to keep their DC-10s in operation? I know they have recently repainted these aircraft to the new NWA scheme and this gives me hope for the next 5 or so years.

I agree. The work of the pilots/crew is commendable--good job <acronym title="Helijet Airways (Canada)">JB</acronym>. However, these pilots go through training for events exactly like these.
