Cooldown time depends on ambient temperature and weather conditions. Engine cool down quicker on windy days. They seem to cool quicker when there is a higher temperature differential also. Meaning, they assume ambient temperature quicker on cold days.

You can drop them as an assembly, but why? Get the ducts and valves out of the way and out comes the ACM and the heat exchanger.

Hell, in 18 years exposed to the B757/767, I 've probably on seen 2 ACM and maybe one heat exchanger.

It's just their paint scheme. They chose to have the belly as bare metal. The part of the fuselage that's painted, aft of the forward silver strip and forward of the aft strip, is actually a collection of fairings and panels. They are composite or fiberglass panels and need to be painted.

Tylenol PM works fine for me. You're not going to find anythinf too powerful out there. Try the PM with a drink.
