I agree with HBDAN, it is OK up to 3 wrong letters. I made a reservation for my boss and mispelled his name with just one letter and he had no problems (or rather I should say, I had no problems). I doubt the boss even saw it.

I do not think North Philadelphua airport would be an alternative. It is too far away, no public transprotation, and the road system there is not good.

Excellent article in the BBC and very, very true. If air traonsport does not reutrn to "normal" then the terrorists have won. We saw this disruption after 9/11 after their mass murder, and things sorted out. They will again, and hopefully sooner rather then later.

Crew Exempt From Liquid Restritcions?

Does anyone know if airline crew are also no tallowed to being toothpaste, gels, etc in their carry on luggage? Since they often are on the road for three days that would mean they would have to buy supplies each day, since they never check their bags. It seems that the rules should apply to all.

It is standard procedure on any airline to place all bags under the seat or on the overhead bin. This is for safety. If the girl refused to do so, the airline and crew acted correctly. The girl was wrong.

SAA internet does not allow you to do some reservations online. It does allow multi city/country.; it does not always allow you to purhcase ticekts for other people in other countries. Beleive it or not, you do have to talk to a human being at times - when you can get one!
