The only non-ER 773 resale transaction I can remember is the Emirates to Cathay Pacific, and that is because Cathay Pacific wants to use 773 to replace its regional 772 fleet. I guess the JAL 773 have too many cycles to have any decent resale value.

I have a solution, but a bad one. If DOT allows AA to have a reserve/break/dormant on its PEK/PVG authority from ORD, then DOT should also allow DL to seek 'flexibility' on its HND slots/routes. Otherwise, do block both party and nobody would be unhappy.

Another thing to bear in mind is that both TPA and MCO are holiday destinations which some people like to combine, e.g. buy an open jaw ticket into TPA and return from MCO. You don't want to leave your car at LHR when you'll return to LGW. If you have the numbers to show it, I would love to see it....

19 is a too small number. AA has to lock one seat for pilot which means out of the 20 there are only 19 seats. It may work for secondary stations but I don't think it is good for market like London. Currently AA flies B788 between ORD and LHR, I wonder that would be changed.
