Periodically, MSP sees a 737 and we have had 319/320 service to SFO before (seasonally in summer, I believe). Maybe this is just the return of mainline service for the summer months?

MSP has "last" flight arrival around 0100-0200, depending on time of year, and first out around 0500. I believe the terminal is open 24/7 though.

With recent additions by AS at MSP (SAN, SFO), bringing the number of cities out of MSP to four, any chance of a MSP-DAL flight? WN has seemed reluctant to add it when it would likely be successful at 1-2x daily.

I think it depends on where WN sees CVG in its entire plan of possible routes. Say they have a list of 1,000 routes to someday add. There is a value (profit?) assigned to each route. When a CVG route moves to the top of the list, it gets added. The real question is, where on the list are those route...

If MHT is profitable than why doesn't WN add flights to make more money? I don't think we got a Saturday only FLL flight and last I checked no LAS again this summer unless it was not advertised witch is a whole other problem. WN today added a single daily flight to BNA (Nashville) beginning early June. Compared to last June, MSP stays flat with 27 departures. The trade for the BNA flight was a loss of one ATL flight. I guess this makes sense using BNA to connect and not ATL.

When opening new stations, doesn't WN tend to start conservatively? Would MDW and BWI sound good to start at a few flights to each city per day from CVG? Other cities to follow later.

I believe DL is also cutting some at ATL. It's just right-sizing and the media loves to jump all over a "reduction" in service.
