87% is good. WN system-wide in the U.S. had about an 84.5 in August, with 83.88 as their YTD number. So, DSM is ahead of the WN system. I found the same for MSP.

No change to MSP. Basically what I expected...still 25 departures daily. I still can't believe MSP-MKE exists when the loads are in the 60s or worse. I guess it must still make money. MSP-PHX lost frequency, but DEN and STL went up for a net zero effect. No holes in the MSP schedule for May, either....

I heard it was a highly requested route. Bill's blog post for Southwest stated exactly that...highly requested by customers AND employees. Southwest extended their schedule a whopping two weeks from April 24, 2017 through May 8, 2017. MSP-LAS is cut (was introduced from 3/9-4/24 as 1x daily). Additionally, MDW drops to 6, poor LF MKE stays at 2x/day, PHX is 2x/day (I think it was 3x last year). Wondering why WN would come up with these...

Believe it or not, even with a small two-week extension, I noticed a cut. While it was called seasonal, MSP-LAS is no longer on WN beyond April 24th. Hard to believe that route wouldn't survive.

During the last conference call they said May and June flying will be annoucned in January. WN is currently reviewing under performing markets or cities. And will be making a adjustments for the January release. I predict you will see FNT,CAK and GSP axed. With freed up aircraft to grow FLL service...

True, but if HOU is a mega gateway to Int'l for WN, they should offer the option. WN has built a decent base of customers at MSP. SY has a great local following too.

The fear of all LCC/ULCC carriers is the hub carrier will match and retain its customer base, so it is probably working for DL on MSP-MKE.

I'm also a happy WN flyer in MSP and have been pleased to see the ongoing (if slow) growth. DAL and LAS seem like logical places for some growth. Specifically about their terminal 2, KLM would use the Delta terminal. MSP has the unique feature that each terminal has a flight to Iceland. Sun Country does seem to have bulked up some routes. I will try to find an updated 2017 map (I know I saw one as part of a MAC presentation), but on page 10 below you get the idea. SY has 1-7, WN has 8-12 with 11 or 12 even including some SY when available and needed.

I did not see a post on this subject, but does anyone have info as to the charters NFL teams are using this year?

As a quick side note, tonight, 8/31, the Los Angeles Rams will be flying a UA 789 into MSP. This will be the first 789 for MSP, albeit a charter.
