So this rapper was actually kicked off an WestJet flight for being too loud.
Whatever, this isn't going to become breaking news.
There are no direct flights from the country of France to Saint Pierre, but you can get a connecting flight through places like Montreal, Halifax, Saint John's, and a few other cities in the maritimes. I believe when it comes to Saint Pierre, if your staying more than 90 days you need a passport. Bu...Jump to post
Being reported on other forums To be announced very soon at MPC event I am surprised IAD before DFW Also another 2 new Cities to be announced for 2018 already announced 2018 Dublin, Copenhagen Brussels and Nanning 2018 is set to be a Huge expansion year for CX! On another forum there was mention th...Jump to post
It's nice to see HU do well on the international routes at PVG. SEA and BOS appear to be doing well, while BRU was resumed and TLV was started.Jump to post
I think it would be amazing if there was some sort of airplane museum where retired planes go not to be destroyed, but instead being able to walk inside them and look around. Keeping the planes the way they are and not destroying them or taking them apart sounds a lot better. People would like that ...Jump to post
I think it is pretty clear that EVERYBODY needs to have there seatbelt on.
Just follow the rules on an plane and you'll be fine.
EWR has very few SkyTeam airlines, other than Delta. Air France, KLM, and Alitalia don't serve EWR anymore. JFK has basically most SkyTeam airlines, but it's far from an SkyTeam hub. DL has it's main base at T4 along with a few other SkyTeam airlines. AF, SV, MU, and a whole bunch of other airlines ...Jump to post
So I assume the main building will be for Asiana Airlines, The Satellite Terminal will be for oneworld/unaffiliated airlines, and Terminal 2 will be for Korean Air and eventually every other SkyTeam airline? Nice terminal it seems like. Was ICN congested terminal wise before the Terminal 2 opening? ...Jump to post
Also, it's nice to see MUC gain service to South America again.
Why did LH cut MUC-GRU? Will LH resume MUC-GRU sometime in the future or no?
Bit unrelated, but how do these clowns label Avianca as one of the world unsafest airlines? https://www.thelocal.de/20170103/these-are-the-safest-airlines-in-germany "...The most unsafe airlines worldwide were Garuda Indonesia, Avianca Colombia and Taiwan’s China Airlines in last place... I do...Jump to post
YYZ, not bad choice maybe they can use Westjet to use as partner to connect pax else where in Canada/US. Lot of Russians in Canada. Aeroflot actually served YYZ quite a while back but it was cut. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/international-business/aeroflot-cancels-direct-fligh...Jump to post
Royal Jordanian is an O&D carrier in my eyes. They serve routes that are demanded from AMM and handle very few connecting passengers. It seems like they operate too many planes, and having the A320 and 787 is fine enough. Also, Royal Jordanian hasn't done that well on new routes launched. They l...Jump to post
Many airlines such as PR, VN, and GA have launched flights to LHR and they found proper slots for themselves. At some point CI will want to move to LHR, but how will they get the slots? From AF or KL possibly?
Otherwise, how did CI fail LHR several years ago?
I don't think AR leaving BCN had anything to do with the economic meltdown. Even without it, BCN seems like it was struggling and it was bound to be cut at some point. It will be cut next year. Still, I don't think it will stop airline from increasing capacity or frequencies, or launching new routes...Jump to post
Is it true that Delta converted some gates in the South Satellite to stand gates that can accommodate regional aircraft? Otherwise, SEA is a pretty busy airport and needs expansion. There's gonna be a lot of international expansion next year with Aer Lingus, Air France, and Aeromexico launching flig...Jump to post
I find it surprising that Air Canada is adding YEG-SFO. They have scaled back there presence in YEG (including cutting LHR for example) and don't even serve cities like LAX and LAS.
Why did UA cut SFO-YEG?
Nice to see LEVEL in ORY. There also expanding BCN which is also good, despite the fact that PUJ is being cut with BOS being added.
LEVEL seems to be doing pretty good on BCN-EZE along with every other route, the only bad route being PUJ (being cut next year).
Nice to see LEVEL doing good in BCN and adding new routes (to BOS in 2018) despite the fact that I heard they wanted to add LEVEL at MAD.
So they were both on the taxiway at the same time and this happened?
I think there was another incident where an A380 hit a CRJ at JFK or something like that.
Pretty nice livery. Is MH now profitable? How have there profits been?
Otherwise, it's nice to see MH recover from the crisis a few years ago. It seems like there doing a lot better. Maybe they could use the A359 to resume AMS and CDG for example.
Airport security is not perfect. I think that having Israeli airport security at North American airports would be bad. Imagine an airport like LAX having it. Every car driving to the airport would be slowed down because of questioning. Passenger questioning would also cause major line ups. It would ...Jump to post
I would think that QR gets a lot of government subsidies. The government of Qatar is rich and can give lots of money to QR. Even if QR is losing money from this crisis that is still going on, if they can order more planes and launch new routes despite that they can't be making the money themselves.Jump to post
How is the TBIT Satellite concourse going along?
Otherwise, LAX seems like a mess. Handling too much passengers without enough gates and terminal space. Traffic also seems like an nightmare.
Why does Avianca seem to have a hub in BOG and a hub in El Salvador. Many routes are not flown from BOG and are indirect.Jump to post
What year did SAS start SEA?Jump to post
I find it pretty amazing that the new Istanbul Airport will be open by next year possibly. Construction only started in 2015 I believe, so they are doing a good job building an new airport for Istanbul in only a few years when it's urgently needed. Even the new Berlin airport was planned for much lo...Jump to post
I assume Air China is state owned by the government. So I assume that Air China is sometimes forced to fly routes they don't want to? I thought I read somewhere saying they were forced to start YUL-HAV. Still, if CA has a long ground time at IAH at least an tag on flight will keep the aircraft in th...Jump to post
Maybe BA will expand from LCY with new routes. Maybe they could fly to cities like BRU, LUX, CGN, MUC, HAM, OSL, CPH, ARN, MAD, BCN, etc.Jump to post
LIN is quite a tiny airport in which it seems like it cannot be expanded much. Pretty tiny as well it seems.
LIN may be closer to Milan, but why don't airlines choose MXP to fully base there operations? They have more capacity at MXP then at LIN.
I didn't realize that TK handled lots of Turkey O&D traffic. I thought they had a lot more international transfer traffic. TK has quite a large domestic network that connects at IST and SAW to connect to other destinations. Even with international transfer traffic which helps them on some market...Jump to post
