Re: Why does Korean Air fly to Kathmandu (KTM)?

Was looking at the wiki for KTM and surprised there is no service to PEK and PVG, is that correct? China Eastern operates a one stop service from Shanghai via Kunming to Kathmandu. Air China flies between Chengdu and Kathmandu, along with service to Lhasa as well. No direct flight to Beijing. Howev...

Thanks for all the responses people, and no the crashed Turkish Airlines A330 has long been removed, too damaged to go back to service. Were talking about TC-JOC here.

Why does Korean Air fly to Kathmandu (KTM)?

Could anyone give me some reasons to why Korean Air flies to Kathmandu? It seems like an odd route.

Is Emirates really doing well at SAW? The airline might be cutting the route by Augest.

Re: RUMOR: LH MUC to EZE?

SQ325 means the the MUC-GRU could be cut due to the recession in brazil. Honestly, brazil is a bad place for airlines and some airlines (Korean Air, Singapore Airlines) have cut there routes to GRU.

Re: RUMOR: LH MUC to EZE?

I think there a few good points to why this service will be launched. First of all, the demand for the route must exist. If you have Lufthansa flying FRA-EZE for so long, it makes sense to add MUC-EZE. The first point I have is that on Munich Airport's anna.aero route shop profile, EZE is listed as ...

Re: Air Canada: YYZ-GIG zeroed out

True, Brazil really offers nothing good right now. Air Canada is not the only carrier to cut service to Brazil. At some point, BA was rumoured to cut flights to Brazil. Air France cut Brasilia. Delta cut Brasilia from Atlanta and then Orlando as well too.

A question about Aeroplan miles and Air Canada

Im having trouble explaining how aeroplan miles work. Someone in my family will be taking a plane trip this summer and they might fly Air Canada. So I assume what you need to do is make an aeroplan account, and when booking the flights you use your account info? Another question I have is that you d...

Re: The ME3 in Canada

Yes, QR is restricted just like EK/EY with three flights a week into Canada. Honestly, I think it helps out Canada a lot with only 3 ME3 flights per week on the three gulf carriers. First of all, they take away traffic. If EK, EY, and QR were allowed seven flights a week to the destinations they ser...

Why did EasyJet, Flybe, Air France, and KLM end flights to Cologne/Bonn?

EasyJet- Why did they stop flights to Cologne/Bonn? They were in the market for a while so it must have been profitable for them. Flybe- They flew a Q400 between BHX and Cologne/Bonn. Why did they end flights? They had the smallest aircraft to make the flight work. Air France- Not enough demand for ...

Kenya Airways Asia Expansion

Will Kenya Airways expand in Asia, with the planned Beijing and Shanghai flights in the future? I am aware the Nairobi Airport needs expansion but after they get out of there unprofitably will they expand in Asia.

Will there ever be a direct NBO-CAN service? (not via Hanoi)
