Very true. Factoring that out the leap year day, YOW's growth would have been about +0.7% or equal to January. In other words without the Via boost, YOW probably would have broken even under 'normal' circumstances.

You're a skeptic and its nonsense. Air Canada is moving 777 gauge off the Pacific onto the Atlantic, and Heathrow is a safe place to put capacity given all the global turmoil. They still do. Without the LH connections, I doubt routes like their new YEG-FRA would be viable.
