Re: Phoenix Aviation Thread 2017

Fun little bump in travel last week from PHX on DL. I was scheduled to go PHX->SEA (E175)->ICN (767)->HAN (VE A359). The 7:15 to Seattle out of here kept getting bumped by 5 mins, then 15, then 20, etc. Seeing this game before, I started hovering about 20 feet from the podium and then I saw a very n...

2019 is what I am hearing. That is from the Sky Priority folks since I ask every time I check in for a flight.

Looks awesome. Cannot wait for these to join the DL fleet. I cannot find the original thread so will ask here... of the routes the 747 is currently flying (ICN, NRT, etc), are all of these going to A350s? I am looking at going back to ICN/BKK next January and everything out of DTW to ICN is showing ...

Good to hear but not surprising with the impending Joint Venture. KE used the A380 for quite some time to ATL, I wasn't aware that it had been downgauged. I was not aware either. Just saw KE A380 there a few months ago. Then again I could not find it at all this summer when I was booking so maybe i...

Re: Should Delta Add More Trans-Pacific Flights Out of Seattle?

I think DL has proven you can make a ton of money on so-called "secondary hubs.". DTW is in my opinion one of the nicest connecting hubs in the U.S. and MSP is not bad either. DL kills AA and UA in profit because of its domestic network, and other than ATL it mostly connects pax through &...

This is why I am taking the 744 out of DTW to ICN in June. Out of the way from PHX however A) I want one last trip on her majesty and B) I am not taking a $&@@;/ 767 from Seattle to Seoul.

I'm in denial. Maybe LH is starting a FRA-MZJ nonstop. The runway is too short for the return flight and the place is secured by Cowboys with a lose gun in the Holster. Tried to visit that place once. :) Scary, I put the gear in reverse i no time The gate guard and dogs are gone and any one can go ...

Re: Phoenix Arizona Aviation Thread Part 18

Looks like we have the DL A330 until March 31 and then the schedule really changes with lots of 75s. On every Delta survey I take I make sure to say we really need a Sky Club and the A330 service makes a nice, relaxing flight to ATL. Will that move the needle? Very low chance. However I hope DL is p...
