Dan, You can park at the hotel or the lane next to the hotel car park. Footpath on the tunnel side of the hotel will take you to 24L threshold. If you cross the main road from the hotel by the roundabout and go up the steps to a footpath it will take you towards 06R and 24L rotate area. Cheers, Jon

OK, so the viewfinder must have it's own 1.<acronym title="United Parcel Service (USA)">5X</acronym> magnification lens or the mirror is the same size as the CCD to compensate, otherwise a standard size mirror will reflect the standard lens image to the viewfinder and not show what the CCD is seeing...

The authorities even let a restricted number of spectators onto the grass in front of the viewing park for £10! Wonder if any a.net people were amongst them? After a bit of research it appears it is Aeromexico, they have a B767-200 scheduled into Paris CDG at 0830 on Saturdays (the day it was taken) AM005. Thats one hell of a long flight for a B767-200!

How do we know that all screeners are using recent, high quality, calibrated and not dirty worn out monitors??? At last maybe it has come to light why there is so much inconsistency in the screening process. I have discovered some of my pictures look many times better on a friends recent Phillips 17...

Looks as though the El Al B747 and the Freebird MD80s on Wed have now been cancelled.

Football charters can change right up until the day. Handling agents may not know what is coming until the day - suppose it makes it more interesting!

-never had any problems
-lots of good vantage points (if you have a car)
-runway system that is spotter friendly
-north side has the official areas, south side unofficial, just stick to the footpaths.
