As said earlier the stop is either in LAX or SFO because these are cities of interest to French people. Including French people in PPT. The Mexican border isn't like that. Re: RUMOR : French Blue on ORY - SFO - PPT market

My understanding of the AF/TN and the possible BF flights via LAX and SFO respectively is to move passengers between Metro France and French Polynesia. The stops in LAX and SFO exist because there is no aircraft in existence that can fly PAR-PPT nonstop. The added bonus beyond being along the GC pa...

Re: Next UA mid-con from SFO. Any guesses?

I just noticed that AA has added CLT-SJC in May18. UA really needs to start a route to CLT from SFO to defend that market! It is not as though they don't have the pax. BoA Pacific headquarters are in SFO plus all the pacific traffic. I know many will say that UA likes to route through ORD, but SFO h...

This is a no brainier SFO-PPT would be a money maker for UA, especially a seasonal route with a 787 a few days a week. A lot folks on Anet say it can't work for some reason? Most people say it's to expensive. Well the Bay Area is definitely not short of money and premium pax. Factor in the Hub at SF...

I have thought for some time a SFO-PPT say 2-3x a week would do well. I do not know if French Blue is the airline to do it! but I'm confident the routing would succeed. I know a few airlines tried the route many years back, but the Bay Area since that time has grown in Wealth capitol immensely. Plus...

For one of the highest priced places to live in the US only SJC has a very nice modern airport to offer. Both OAK and SFO are stuck in the Cold War era. I never understood VA. Take SFO for example. LAX worlds biggest, let's hope not!
