The TU-334 is a 100-seater, as far as I know it will be build in two versions. Some of these jets will be uild in Iran. At the moment there are talks if the 334 can be fitted with western avionics and engines (BR 710/715).

They were the launch customer for the 737-900 (10) and they have some 737-700 (I think 8) on order. Alaska is said to be interested in some more -700 to replace the complete MD-80 fleet.

Surprise, surprise. Do they have the money for such a deal?
I think to start transatlantic-services it seems more logical to order/lease a 313/306 or 332 (if they order Airbus). To replace the 727s a mix of 319/320/321 seems a good choice. But we will see. I hope they order some busses.

I´m personaly in favour of the 328/428JET and the 728JET. I prefer them because the offer more space and have a better technology than the CRJ and the ERJ-145. The first one has been streched twice and is at his end and the ERJ-145 can´t be streched. Different the 728Jet and the proposed 928/1128JET.
