Midway mk 1 bought out the assets of or merged with AirFlorida when it shut down (I forget exactly). I will get the exact specifics when I get home, it is in the book Deregulation Knockouts Round 1. And I did know about Brannif and Florida Express.

I also get my hair cut at Supercuts (i like it!) for 16.00 (cut & tip). The hair cut is $14.00...but I also get my hair gel every third cut and thats $14.95...yes...more than the haircut itself. Its nuts. Oh well!

The 737-300 going to the west coast was before USAirways had A-320s in the fleet. They had just introduced the new livery at the time I saw this plane flying out there. And aren't a couple of their 737s modified to do longer range flying?

Did Allegiant ever come out of bankruptcy? I remember them filing but I never saw anything about them exiting. If they did-how are their finances looking and how is the expansion affecting their finances? Overxpansion has killed more than a few carriers.
