This sums up what a whimpy society we have become. Hint if you need an emotional support animal to fly you are unfit to fly and a potential Hazzard on a aircraft.

Re: Breaking: Bahrain, Egypt and KSA closed their airspace for Qatar

So Saudi Arabia doesn't support ISIS? Laughable... as usual the Arab Gulf has to be the most hypocritical area of the world, even more than Israel.. They better fix this before the World Cup.. FIFA is saying "they are in touch with Qatari leadership and has no further comment at this time"...

I think you guys are all missing the next and most likely big thing. On demand air service as oppesed to scheduled service. Think more along the lines like UBER.

No becuase as soon as you took delivery of your first 4 engine A350 oil prices would spike to $120.

Airline customer service in the US?

I agree with most of the things here, the numbers of grump FAs is overall very small. I wlll disagree on pay as a reason. In fact they may be paid too well. Its once reason they are still working after 20-40+ years on the front line. They could move to another job in the airline or to another indust...

When airlines erase all 4 engine planes from their fleets then I will not go overseas then. they lost my business. That is certianly your choice, but that sounds a lot like people that do not fly and take cross country car trips in the US for fear of crashing. It is just not logical or factually ba...

Re: AA to add 789 to LAX

The A350s will replace the 333 out of PHL/CLT. That was the Usairways plan but is it still the AA Plan ? AA has 22 A350-900 on order so what do they do with them ? Using them for for CLT/PHL to Europe seems like an awful waste of such a long range airplane. Does AA really need them ? AA has plenty ...

Interesting the comments in the article about "It shouldn't make any difference", when you check in or what you paid or how frequent a flyer you are to get bumped. What criteria would they prefer airlines use? In this case it was a downgauge of equipment after a mechanical issue? Sometimes...

In 2018 DFW will add a Heavy Rail connection to go along with it's existing Light Rail connection. True you will be able to take Amtrack from Oklahoma City for example and the change trains in FortWorth to the Airport. You could do that now but it requires a bus from Centerpoint to the Terminals. I don't think AA will order any more 787s, or any Boeing aircraft for that matter as long as Doug Parker is in charge. Keep in mind the 787s were ordered by previous management. Parker strongly prefers Airbus - he has never ordered any Boeing aircraft. I could see AA ordering the A330NEO in the fut...
