Re: Boeing to accelerate 787 production, increases accounting block

It will always be difficult for people to grasp that making a profit and earning money are not always the same thing. Boeing does make it a bit more difficult with the program accounting, but hey, most of us don't care too much about accounting anyway. It seems like a.net is obsessed with accountin...

Re: AA 777-200ER replacement, A350 , 787-9 order potential

There are two options here for AA to choose from: 1. Exchange 22 A359s for 44 A321NEOs 2. Exchange 22 A359s for 25 A330-900NEOs Both options mentioned above are good and have their own respective pros and cons. The safe bet would probably be OP1 as it can also opt for many A321neoLRs and base them ...

Re: UA changes order for 35 A350-1000s to 45 A350-900s

Fortunately for UA they had enough built-in flexibility that has allowed them to adjust their plan over time. Fortunately for Airbus they seem to be holding enough of UA's cash so that UA is still going to be buying some new A350s which in any case seem to be the right tool for the job. When you ad...

First it was 359 to replace 744, then 3510 to replace 744, then 773ER to replace 744 and 3510 for ?, and now 359 to replace 772ER. And that is just this order without getting into the narrowbodies! I'm not really sure what the big news is. Basically, they slightly changed the terms of an existing order and pushed off delivery of their items from 5 to 10 years into the future.
