The thing with BA now is there's no incentive at all to fly with them, the only difference between BA and EZY/FR is BA are more expensive. Pilots hearts must have sunk to their boots when they realized the engine had given up right on take off and they're carrying fuel for a 14 hour flight! Great job by the AC pilots though.

And therefore what thrust rating does it have?

I've spent a little time looking around but can't seem to find any site that says anything more than "GEnx-1B" and according to Wikipedia there are plenty of variants of GEnx-1B that are suitable for the 787-8.

I have flown AA's retrofitted 767-300ER from LHR to RDU in October and can confirm that there is no personal entertainment in economy class. So, I've just had news that our LHR-DEN-LHR flight in September will stopover in ORD, which means we're likely to be on a 767-300er for the transatlantic leg. Oh, I should clarify that I'm using Expedia to get a rough gauge of the prices, but even when I go to a specific airline website (say DL) the prices are representative of what I see on the comparison sites.
