I am a big guy, but i am not so big that i take up too much room.

just a big a problem is the people of normal size that drift into your seat anyway. the ones that own the armrest as soon as they hit the seat. so then as a big guy, i feel like i cant put my right arm down thru the whole flight.

i would look at Sony's line of full featured cameras, i have a DSC-H1, its a few years old and a 5 megapixel but it is a step above your typical point and shoot cameras, but at a decent price.
