I think perhaps you want to be asking yourself, what engines does it use? and how much does it wiegh? and how aerodynamic is it? Those three factors are what would effect the economy of this aircraft.

Airliners are damn expensive things, and more often than not are leased to airlines rather than owned by them, for that reason I would assume if an aircraft is not in use, i.e. not being leased, the markings would be removed/covered up because that aircraft is no longer property of the airline whose...

To make things easy, I calculate mach 1 as equivalent to 750mph. so mach 2 = 1500mph and mach 3 = 2200mph etc. This isn't very exact of course but it just gives me a rough idea, mach speed being the aero term for the speed of sound, which of course will vary depending on air pressure/density and air...

You're quite right, they're almost certainly being sucked into the wingtip vortices.(the spiral of air at the tip of the wing, where the high pressure beneath tries to go round the tip of the wing to reach the low pressure on top, for those who don't know) There's no other explanation I can think of...

the captains control column has most likely been disconnected for maintenance. That's the most logical reason I can think of.

great stick, the force feedback and vibration is a tad excessive though. Best used on sims flying with fingertips rather than your whole fist, so you don't break the sensor beam and get all the vibrations, makes for much smoother flying.
