SEA spotting is bogus  Sad Morning hours are your best bet, due to the sun. Add to the above list the SAS A340, it comes in around 5pm and leaves @ 7.

For the past several months UPS has operated a MD-11 into Seattle, but this week it has disappeared...and I notice UPS has also "grounded" their 727 that flys into BFI.

They offer a 1GB Microdrive as part of the rental package. Their lens selection is huge, I count 100+ diffrent options. I was thinking something like a 80-400mm f4.5-5.6 ED VR Nikor...but am solicting opinions!

what about the Nikon Coolpix 5000? I shopped between that and F707, what you give up in optical zoom you make up for (in my opinion) with the ability to shoot planes close up and fill the frame (28mm wide lense) and you can fit the 5000 thru fence openings...

did you try an unsharp mask in Photoshop? Maybe 100-150% a Radius of 2 pixels, and a threshold of 4...
